How we'll keep you updated

An email within 10 minutes

You'll get an email confirming your booking, or telling you it wasn't confirmed and you haven't been charged. It comes from aucustomerservice@teamsignal.com.au, so add that address to your safe senders.

A call if something stops the patrol

If something stops the patrol, such as unsafe conditions or no safe access to your site, we'll contact you on the details you gave us to arrange a rebooking.

Before you book

Questions business owners ask

A casual patrol is a visual deterrence and observation visit, booked one patrol at a time. The full terms cover everything below in detail.

Why is there a pending charge on my card?

When you book, your card is authorised for $xx.xx. It's a hold, not a charge. You're only charged once our control room confirms your booking. If it isn't confirmed within 10 minutes, or we can't service your site, the hold is cancelled. Your bank decides how quickly it disappears from your statement.

Can I choose an exact time?

No. The officer attends once, at a random time within the window you choose. We can't promise an exact attendance time or patrol order.

What if the patrol doesn't happen?

If we don't conduct the patrol within your window, you can choose a refund of that patrol's price or one replacement patrol on another agreed date. If unsafe conditions, no safe access, incorrect booking details or an operational emergency stop us attending, we'll contact you and offer a reasonable rebooking or any other remedy required by law.

Can I book several nights, or more than one site?

Each booking covers one patrol at one site. For regular patrols, or cover across several sites, request a quote.

Is this an emergency or alarm response service?

No. A casual patrol is a visual deterrence and observation visit. It isn't guarding, alarm monitoring, or emergency or police response, and we don't promise the officer will intervene in an incident.

Who can book a patrol?

Anyone authorised to request patrols at the property. When you book, you confirm that you're authorised, that your booking details are accurate, and that you accept the booking terms.

Need patrols every week, or across several sites?

Tell us about your sites and we'll quote regular patrols around your operating hours and risks.

Test tools: what this page is, and the effect log

This is the same bundle a WordPress page would load. The read-only version, which posts nothing at all and therefore shows no price, is on index.html. Confirming a booking here sends you to the stand-in payment page, pay.html, which needs a signed link from a real order to do anything.

What is worth your attention. The rules are covered by automated tests, so the useful thing a person can judge is how it reads: whether any field is confusing, whether the patrol window choice is clear, whether the acceptance sentence is legible where it sits, and whether anything implies a time the patrol will happen — it must not. Note anything that makes you hesitate.

Everything the checkout sends appears here as it happens.
